Kineret is the most common biologic drug for treating SJIA. It’s a very effective medicine. However, since it has a short half-life it requires daily injections. Worse, since it comes packaged in syringes, taking a dose higher than 100mg requires multiple shots! There has to be a better way ;->
I made a quick video showing how to decant multiple syringes of Kineret into a single larger syringe. It’s not rocket science but it takes a little bit of practice to get right. If it means your kid needs only one shot per day instead of two, it’s totally worth it! You can even save the leftovers from the second syringe for the next day, which will save your insurance company thousands of dollars a month as well. So this is a win-win for everybody.

Thanks so much for the demonstration. May I ask how heavy your son was when you had to increase the dosage? Was it a mg of Kineret per kg of body weight thing? I ask because here in my country there is very little experience with Kineret and there are only 2-3 of us on it.
Probably around 12kgs. Younger kids can need higher dosages since their metabolism is faster.
